Shawna & Mike | Disney’s Boardwalk June 6, 2013

May 19, 2013

They met in 2000 while they worked at Universal Studios together.  Shawna could not resist his eyes, or his charming smile, and thought he was so hot. ;)  His good looks, made her think he’d be a jerk, but working together they got to know one another and Shawna saw the softer side of him;  he was really sweet.  Even though they remained friends for the next five years, before they knew it, they were falling for one another.

Five years later, and they were blessed with their little boy, Jackson.  Shawna says Mike is the best father and partner she could have asked for and is really looking forward to being his wife.

I can’t wait to shoot their September Wedding, it’s going to be a wedding to remember.  Thanks guys for choosing me to capture all the essence that is your love.

XOXO
, Noelia

Shawna & Mike chose Disney’s Boardwalk, because of their love for Disney.

If Shawna could have, she would have taken this couch home. (She loves how her feet dangle off the end.)

Laura & Levi’s Port Orange Wedding | Riverside Pavillion May 21, 2013

November 18, 2012

Laura & Levi’s wedding was filled with so much fun and excitment. From the moment I stepped in the girls’ suite there was this vibrant feel to the whole day. You could hear laughter in every corner of the hotel floor. In fact it’s what the girls kept saying about Laura (you could hear her everywhere.)

When the time for the ceremony came, I was thrilled to capture every moment. You could feel the love that Laura & Levi have for each other. It was contagious!

Laura & Levi, I wish you all the happiness in the world. Thank you for choosing me as your photographer, it was a pleasure photographing your wedding.

XOXO
Noelia

Life Lessons January 27, 2013

Wow, it’s been way too long since I’ve last blogged.  I hate when I do this.  I’ve got so much to blog, but just haven’t taken the time to do so.  As many of you know, we moved a few months back, and I feel like I am just now, finally getting things the way I want them around here.

Today I thought I’d blog about something that happened to me this morning.  Something, to me, is very powerful.  I have to say that all I could say was, “WOW,” after it happened.

We were eating pancakes when I looked at Jonathan and said, “sorry some of them were a little burnt.”

He looked at me and replied, “it’s ok.”

Immediately I thought, what he should have said was how good they were.  That would have made me feel better about the burnt pancakes.

Then a little voice inside my head said to me, No, he shouldn’t have said that.  Let him be him.  I made him in my image, not yours.

WOW!!!!!!!

What a slap in the face, but so true.  God did not make Jonathan in my image, but in his own.  So why do I try to make him say and do what I want him to?  He is more than capable, and has every right to say what he wants, do what he wants, and most of all to be his own person.

I am grateful that I have a husband, who loves me just the way that I am, faults and all.  He makes me a better person, and I love him more than he knows.

Our Family-1

Kristie & Jason’s Apopka Wedding | Highland Manor July 8, 2012

March 23, 2012

When Kristie met Jason, they hit it off very quickly.  What was there not to like, he was kind and very charming.  Before they knew it, they were dating and making plans to move in together.

When Jason proposed, Kristie started planning all the details of her wedding immediately.  She had always dreamed of a vintage inspired wedding, and started putting her planning skills to work.  She knew it wouldn’t be an easy task so she enlisted Debbie from Special Touches by Deb to help make her wedding dreams a reality.  And Debbie definitely delivered.

Kristie designed most of the details of her wedding.  The card box, her wedding bouquet, the french fry holders, even her floral arrangements were her own vision.  She knew exactly what she wanted, and made it happen.  Her wedding was definitely elegant and very beautiful, and we were honored to be there to capture it all.

Cake Baker: Michael Anthony Cakes
DJ: Pro Event DJ
Makeup Artist: Faces by Shannon
Hairstylist: Jen Lambert
Bride’s Jewelry: Lola’s Jewlery

Jason got Kristie this gorgeous ring as a token of their unity as husband and wife.  Gorgeous!

Every bride should get a hanger like this, love it!

Kristie’s vintage inspired jewelry was to die for.

This little flower girl could not get enough of the bride’s ‘princess’ dress.

One of my favorite shots of Kristie getting ready.

Love this shot of Kristie’s mom watching her while she touched up her lip gloss.  Proud mommy!

Just about passed out when I saw Kristie’s brooch bouquet.  LOVE IT!

Jason’s mom gave Kristie a hankerchief to use during the ceremony which later can be turned into a bonnet for their first baby.

Kristie’s gift to Jason, he loves his watches!

No better way to start a wedding than with a little prayer.

Loved all the details of the wedding.

These pictures played perfectly with one another.  The girls watched on as the guys walked down to the ceremony site.

Cutest ring bearer and flower girl EVER!

Favorite shot EVER of the bride walking down the aisle.

Pink, pink, and more pink.  I’m dying here.  LOVE!

The wedding party was so much fun, and so easy to work with.  LOVE YOU GUYS!

Madly in LOVE!

Both the top and bottom shots were taken by Jonathan, FAVORITES!

Talk about a grand entrance.  LOVE everything about this wedding!

By the way I made the seating chart for Kristie’s wedding. 😉

Kristie’s proud parents.  Absolutely lovely people!

As always, Michael Anthony does it again.  What a cake!

French fries, a small snack to end the night.  Yummo!

What an exit.  I was sad to see the night end, but so glad to see these two leave arm in arm.

Jenn & Brian’s Maternity Session June 20, 2012

I love doing maternity sessions, they are fun and I absolutely love seeing mommy glow. Jennifer was just that, glowing all over. She was a bit hesitant on what she had chosen to wear, but when I saw her, I couldn’ have picked better outfits myself. She looked AMAZING!

Jennifer and Brian are expecting their first beautiful baby boy on August 12, 2012, and I couldn’t be happier for them. Such a sweet and loving couple, we’ve had the opportunity to get to know them, and are glad to call them friends.

Thanks guys for allowing me to capture these images of your beautiful family, Caden is lucky to have such great parents as yourselves. God bless you all.

Love,
Noelia

I love this shot of Jenn, so serene.

The picture on the right is one of my favorites from the day.  I want to see this as a canvas.  LOVE!

Hid behind some trees to capture these, wanted them to share a private moment.

Brian is an amazing bowler so we had to include a few of his own baby bump.  Such a sport!

Another one I want to see on canvas, absolutely love this!

Baby Caden’s first pair of sneakers, ahhh, how cute!

Jenn you are absolutely gorgeous!  Brian is one lucky man. 😉
