I know we could both go on with our lives and we could both be fine, but I’ve seen what we could be like together and I choose us.

~The Family Man, (2000)

I love this quote, and it reminds me so much of Liana and Sebastian.  Through everything they’ve been through together and apart, at the end, they have chosen each other.  And I am so glad that I was there when they said their vows.

Liana got ready at the Grand Bohemian and Sebastian got ready at the Stardust Lounge in downtown Orlando.  We started off with the guys who had a blast playing pool, poker, and just hanging back before the wedding.

By the time we got to Liana she had already gotten into her dress in anticipation for the wedding.  She looked AMAZING!  The dress fit her as though it had been custom designed just for her.  We decided to head downstairs to take a few shots of her in her gorgeous dress in the middle of the chaos of downtown Orlando.  She worked it like a pro.

As stunning as Liana looked, I wish I could have had two days to photograph the two.  I was a bit bummed out that it started to rain, and that the first look had to be cut short.  It was such a beautiful moment between the two of them!

The ceremony was just as lovely, and I have to admit that I got teary eyed.

Liana and Sebastian, blessings to the both of you.  I wish you both the best, that you wake up every morning more in love with each other each day.  I can’t wait to see some babies.  ;D

XOXO

I love these two shots of Liana with her mom.  Her mom is such an amazing woman, love her!

Originally, Liana was planning on wearing purple shoes, but ended up choosing these Gianni Bini‘s from Dillards.  I wish I could walk in heels like that, because I think I might have snatched them up.

Liana’s vintage jewelry added the perfect touch to her wedding dress.  LOVE!

A special thanks to Olga Viana, a family friend, for the lovely job on the wedding bouquets.

Thanks to Aveda M Salon Downtown for the great job with the hair for the bride and bridesmaids.
Also to Nicole Pace and Alida Perez who did a great job with the makeup.  And Nicole caught the bouquet at the reception, CONGRATS!

The bridesmaids’ dresses were B.Darlinso and were also bought at Dillards.  They were so elegant and fit them flawlessly.

I said it before, but I loved Liana’s dress.  She got it at a consignment boutique and the tags were still on it.

Sebastian looked so handsome, he picked out his tux for the wedding and did a great job.  So handsome!

I loved Sebastian’s reaction before he saw Liana, I promised him I wouldn’t post the pictures, but he was brought to tears.  An absolutely beautiful moment between the two.  LOVE!!!

The best bridal party ever.  They were so easy going and made the day spectacular.  Thanks guys!

Liana’s dad could not stop looking at her throughout the whole ceremony.  It made me want to get married all over again.

Liana’s brother-in-law cracked me up poking his head in during some of the reception photos, too funny!
The night was spent dancing and having a blast while DJ Shawn from Subsonic EventDJs blasted music from the speakers.  We had so much fun!

Not everyone knows that I used to be an elementary school teacher.  It wasn’t long ago, but I definitely miss it.

When I was given the opportunity to work with a past student, I was thrilled.  I asked Anna if she would be willing to do a trial shoot of her doing some of her ballet moves, and she agreed.

You would never guess that she’s only been doing ballet for a little over a month.  Her experience with hip hop, jazz, and lyrical has turned her into a graceful swan.  Watching her was just so exciting, makes me want to go try it out myself. (Yeah right!  I can just see me now….on the floor.)

Anna, thank you for giving me the chance to photograph you, you are just wonderful.  I hope we can make our next shoot a reality.

XOXO

Sweet Samarah December 22, 2011

Being a parent I know how it feels the first time you hold your baby in your arms.  The joy and pride you have in realizing that you are now a parent.  The overwhelming feeling in knowing that this precious little bundle relies on your for everything.  It’s priceless!

With Jermaine and Tania, the feeling isn’t any different for Samarah.  You see it in their eyes.  They have this unsurpassed feeling of love that they feel for her.  It’s beautiful!

Tania has such a sweet, loving, gentleness towards Samarah.  She holds and caresses her in a way that only an adoring mother can.  She truly loves her little girl.  And Jermaine wants to fix everything.  If Samarah cries, he does whatever he can to console his little girl.  He won’t take his eyes off of her.  It’s so sweet!

Samarah is such a lucky baby to have such great parents!  She is blessed to have parents who are going to love her and teach her to be just as sweet.

Congratulations you two, I can’t wait ’til March.  :D

Mommy & Daddy’s perfect Christmas present.

I love the next three shots.  LOVE!

OK, LOVE these too.  :D

Got this new dinosaur hat, and thought we’d try it out.  TOO CUTE!!!

This blanket belonged to Jermaine when he was a baby.  I love how Samarah has it now.

Look at those cute kissy lips.  Precious!

I love Tania’s engagement ring.  So pretty!

Guard dog on duty!  ;D
